Advice Surgeries Advice surgeries are pre-booked appointments with a Family Services Worker to discuss issues such as understanding autism, dealing with anger, behavioural difficulties and methods of communication. The surgeries are either held at Park Hall Autism Resource Centre or take place over the phone. Following a surgery, the Family Support Worker will write to the participant outlining the areas discussed and any further action that is to be taken. Additional relevant information will also be sent. Anyone connected with autism can request an advice surgery. Recent participants have included parents and carers, educational psychologists, teachers, learning support assistants, social workers and youth workers. For more information please contact us on 0115 976 1805.
