Topics covered include: Understanding ASD, Communication, Interactive Play, Behaviour, Health and Education, Parents’ Feelings and Emotions and How to Access Help. Understanding Challenging Behaviour Course Date: Wednesday 7th October A one-day course for support workers, families, volunteers and other professionals who have to work with aggressive and / or challenging service users. Designed to provide comprehensive information on factors underlying challenging behaviour in people with autism. £40 per person. The sessions help parents gain a better understanding of the reasons for their child’s behaviour and explore ways in which stress can be managed. The course consists of 2 sessions.
