Outreach Services

Operating from two office bases, one in Sherwood, Nottingham and one in Worksop, NORSACA Outreach Services provides a 1:1 (2:1 if required) specialist community or home-based support service.

The service is staffed by outreach managers and specialist support workers. No agency or relief staff are used and all support workers are experienced in supporting those affected by Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Examples of current practice:
Developing & fostering a person centred approach to service delivery Identifying potential work based activity/voluntary work Accessing sector colleges Transition into supported living Supported living Support to seek & maintain paid employment Development of life skills	Providing families with a planned break Assisting people to become part of the local community Building confidence & self esteem Promoting healthy living - including leisure pursuits Support to access health professionals Promoting multi-disciplinary working practices

Each individual has a personal plan which meets their appropriate ethnic, cultural, religious and philosophical needs.
